Kitty Catty Ears Crown
One of the most recent kitty kats I have met lives at my sisters house. He shall remain nameless to protect his identity. When he was just a tiny kitten he lived in the streets and alley's. Living this way gave him some good street cred and of course skills in the art of survival. He prowled in trash cans to find decaying treats, ate left overs or food thrown at him from those tall weird looking creatures called humans, he knocked over cups and glasses and licked the water faucets to get something to drink and I'm sure he had learned to catch cute little mice. One risky thing he would do while living in the streets is keep company with these humans he would meet. He met all sorts of them, all shapes, sizes and colors. One day one of those humans turned him into the authorities. They took him into a truck with cagey compartments and then to a room with cagey compartments. He felt like a bird without its wings. Ironically these humans would then come by and take a caged animal that they themselves called the authorities on. This was very confusing for this kitty kat. He wondered when he could escape this joint with one of them. His odds looked really slim because he was dirty and scroungy looking. He was skin and bones. Eventually one day he did get chosen by a sweet little girl. This kitty kat trusted her. You learn a lot about humans living in the streets. When he got home to his new house he tried to use his best manners by waiting in line behind his new friend a cat friend when it was time to eat that hard crunchy stuff. But he still drinks out of the faucet they turn on for him, eats food out of the trash and keeps company with the humans. Once in a while he gets away for a bit and hears them calling for him and feels happy that he is loved.

Star Moss Faerie Crown
Have you ever seen the Star Moss Faerie? She is somewhat elusive and only shows herself if she finds you particularly interesting. If you are lucky enough to come in contact with her she will at first seem surprized then she may become evasive since she speaks with the way she moves and facial expression, very seldom does she use words. When and if you find yourself speaking with her you may feel as though it is all an illusion. She carries faerie spells in her white star wand. She waves it around the forest to call up the starry moss then disappears. Where does she go? Well she hides just so behind trees or climbs up them while they talk to each other telepathically. Sometimes she hides under ferns to watch and welcome the new star moss to the forest. At night the faerie falls asleep in a patch of star moss while dreaming of who's and what's. I've made a replica of the crown she wears just for you.

Spike Fools Crown
In every city exists one of these three ghostly statues. Two of the statues have their hands out for candles that people use during vigils or light a candle alone for their own reasons. One of the statues looks down to the ground where people also put candles or other things like flowers or trinkets. All three of them wear this spiked crown. Some say it is a fools crown reminding us to make certain choices in life. I have heard that being near this statue is unlike being near other statues. They say that this statue almost feels real and some say it is haunted by the person this statue was carved of. People say it brings them a pleasant peaceful feeling. I have never visited or experienced any of this but someday maybe..someday I will also find out why she wears a spiky crown.

There was once a commoner who got into a sorted mess with a princess. It is hard to imagine how this would ever happen but to tell you the truth, most all the people are commoners. There is only a very small group of people that are true royalty. In order to save himself she said he must somehow acquire a single tear from the queen because only then would it be a royal tear. Why would she want a royal tear you ask? It is known to be pure truth that if you have a royal tear in your possession it banishes away sickness and any kind of pain. The commoner obviously asked " Would it not be less difficult for you to get the tear and spare me in some other way?" And the princess answered " Why yes it would seem so but in order to reap the benefits of the tear you must not be the one who took it and you must wear it inside of a crown"

Black and White Stripes Barrettes
Black and White stripes. First they were ridiculed and thought of as a bad thing when monks wore them in Paris. Then they were banned...then they were worn by all the deviants then they became a fascination, oh how predictable! They are engrained in your human psyche for sure. I like to think of the circus, pirates, punks, dolls and zebra's when I wear stripes. Perhaps even as a symbol of rebellion against all the real corruption in the world.

Secret Flame Heart Crown
This could be the story of this little crown.
Long ago in 1860 to be a little more exact a monk was digging a deep hole. He wanted to bury a book he had written about the meaning of life as sort of a time capsule . Instead of burying a book in that spot he found a box carved intricately with letters telling a story about what was inside the box. The carvings were made by a girl. She said that after all her experiences in life including contemplating her religion she found that when she was truly doing what her heart told her to do she was at her best. She felt alive. She felt a purpose and a fire inside. There were many oppressive ways in the era she was born into. She knew at the center of all this oppression were people who were not considering what was in their heart. The monk slowly opened the box to see what was inside. Inside was a tiny crown that the girl had made out of an old rosary. She threaded the rosary beads through a wire and shaped them into a heart. The gold tassle was weaved into wrapping for the wiry base of the crown. She shaped the rest of the beads into small candles or flames for each side of the heart. The monk contemplated his book his heart and her crown. He knew why she made it then buried it. He knew what trouble she would be in if she were to tell the world before it was ready. Though his book was many chapters long in the end the book and the crown told the same story.

Vintage Arm Warmers Scavenged from Dress
There was once a peculiar girl. She had many phobias. Her sister once
told me about a few of them. What a bad sister she was but I listened
curiously. Her sister's biggest phobia was fear of being alone in the
dark. Not very exciting I know. But her second biggest fear was that one
day someone would see her wrists with that strange round bone that
sticks out. I laughed so hard when I heard this I fell off my chair. When
I got myself back together and wiped the tears of laughter from my eyes
I asked "Have you ever seen her wrists?" She said "No..
not since we were tiny children". She said she keeps them covered mostly
by wearing beautiful wrist cuffs and arm warmers of which she has so
many they fill her whole chest of drawers. I asked "Where does she keep her clothes?"
Her sister said " She only has seven outfits that all look exactly the
same but no one notices because she wears arm sleeves and cuffs over
them and her coat which she hates to remove in public places"
She has many stockings, scarves, belts and other accessories. I don't
know of anyone ever noticing that she wears the same outfits everyday!

The inhalation of brain damaging chemicals, the obnoxious sound of her fingernails as she typed and the deadly mixture she breathed into her lungs was just not acceptable. She thought about how to replace these habits with something better and decided to wear all kind of lovely gloves. A different pair for every mood, every outfit of every day and she lived happily ever after.
